House Quinta da Marinha

# architect quinta da marinha # architect cascais

This house was designed for a plot of land in Cascais with an area of 3200 square meters. It has an area of 1440 square meters.

One of the symbols of the house is the swimming pool that surrounds the entire finished elevation of the living room and bedrooms on the lower floor. It is extended to the interior of the room, being part of the glass floor.

The aim is to provide a feeling of spaciousness in any room of the house, from the entrance to the living room and kitchen working in a single set, with the staircase enveloping the entire space.

The roof is landscaped, with rainwater collection, to feed the water mirror that surrounds the entire rear elevation. The back façade is made of micro-perforated panels, where the access door to the pool is hidden.

The pool is heated using geothermal and solar energy, in order to make use of energy.

The skylight glass has an automatic cleaning system, as well as the pool glass using the clearglass system.

Dinesen wood, Porcelanosa sanitary ware, and white Estremoz marble flooring were used as materials.

One of the pieces is the solid marble staircase, made in fitting pieces.

The furniture was designed by our team, in order to be a unique space.

We intend to create a unique home in order to keep the #best home architects

We carried out an architectural project with the philosophy that the house is to “live for those who live there”.
