Located on one of the most popular beaches in Portugal, Comporta, the project offers a stunning view of the coastline, surrounded by green pine forests, which gives it an unusual tranquility in a beach restaurant.
The architecture of the building, which is modernist and minimalist in its forms and exterior decorative elements, uses organic materials (stone, wood and iron, and is exterior-facing, thanks to the huge windows to the east and west.
The restaurant consists of 2 distinct spaces, a waiting area with an open bar, with a respective counter and dining area.
Chairs, benches and tables were designed in line with the space.
Communication is carried out in an integrated and participatory way in each piece of decoration and furniture.
With the growing presence of designer cuisine, all furniture accessories are personalized. Balcony, floor, ceiling and lighting are duly studied with special attention to detail, and using materials from the region.
Solid wood flooring contrasting with the stone walls create a welcoming atmosphere.
Solar lighting was designed to treat the light so that it never hits the tables directly.
National architecture was one of the client’s bets, contrary to what becomes common in this area, where the entire team is from the region, and which led us to use Portuguese brands in everything that were materials.
Sabrab creates adds to its portfolio, a signature restaurant, with signature pieces, in an area where it develops several housing projects, where it has over 12 completed projects.
